Kelor Island

Padar Island

Start & End: Labuan Bajo, Flores, Indonesia

A once-in-a-lifetime journey to explore one of the world's most fascinating destinations—Komodo National Park. From island trekking and snorkeling with sea turtles to witnessing the mighty Komodo dragon in its natural habitat, this 6-day expedition is a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and cultural discovery.

Day 1: Arrival in Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Menjerite – Kalong Island

Kalong Island, Komodo National Park

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo, where a friendly local guide welcomes you. From there, you’ll head straight to the harbor and board the liveaboard boat that will be your home for the next few days. While enjoying lunch onboard, the boat sails toward the stunning Kelor Island. Here, you’ll hike to the top of the island for breathtaking panoramic views—perfect for photos. After the trek, it’s time to change into your swimwear and enjoy some snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters around Kelor. Take your time to relax on the beach or shop for local souvenirs, such as handwoven bracelets, wooden Komodo dragon carvings, and traditional t-shirts. You can also sip on fresh coconut juice while soaking up the tropical atmosphere.

Next stop: Menjerite Island, a popular spot for snorkeling with its vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish. In the late afternoon, the boat cruises to Kalong Island, where—weather permitting—you'll witness the dramatic spectacle of thousands of giant fruit bats flying out of the mangrove forest at sunset. As the sun sets, the boat anchors near Rinca Island, where you’ll spend your first night aboard. Dinner is served on deck, under the stars.

Day 2: Rinca Island – Pink Beach – Padar Island

The day begins with a hearty breakfast on the boat, followed by a trekking adventure on Rinca Island, home to one of the largest populations of Komodo dragons. You’ll explore the island’s trails with an official park ranger, choosing from short, medium, or long treks depending on your preference. After the trek, return to the boat and sail toward the iconic Pink Beach. The unique blush-colored sand and clear waters make this the perfect spot for snorkeling, swimming, or simply relaxing on the beach. In the afternoon, the boat heads to Padar Island. A challenging hike up around 800 steps takes you to the summit, approximately 400 meters above sea level. From the top, you’ll be rewarded with one of Indonesia’s most famous and stunning views—three crescent-shaped bays with different colored beaches. After sunset, return to the boat for dinner and an overnight stay in the calm waters near Padar Island.

Day 3: Komodo Village – Red Beach – Loh Liang (Komodo Island)

This day offers a mix of culture, nature, and wildlife. After breakfast, you’ll visit Komodo Village, a local community that lives alongside the Komodo dragons. You’ll walk through the village and even do a light trek with local villagers to spot Komodo dragons in their natural surroundings. The journey continues to Red Beach (Pantai Merah), another famous snorkeling spot known for its vibrant coral reefs and pinkish sand. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Loh Liang on Komodo Island, where you’ll set out on a guided trek through the Komodo dragon’s natural habitat. Keep your eyes open—not only for dragons but also for deer, wild boars, and exotic birds. Dinner is served on the boat as you unwind and reflect on the day’s adventure.

Day 4: Gili Lawa – Siaba Island

Start your morning with breakfast on deck before heading to Gili Lawa, a small island famous for its sunrise views and scenic trekking trails. From the top, you'll enjoy stunning views of the surrounding turquoise sea and neighboring islands. After the hike, cool off with some snorkeling around Gili Lawa, then continue to Siaba Island, known as the “City of Turtles.” Here, you’ll have a chance to snorkel alongside sea turtles and explore the rich marine life. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay onboard, surrounded by calm waters and a gentle sea breeze.

Day 5: Manta Point – Kanawa Island – Sebayur Island

Today begins with an unforgettable snorkeling experience at Manta Point, where you may encounter the graceful manta rays that often swim in these nutrient-rich waters (sightings are not guaranteed, as these are wild animals). Next, the boat sails to Kanawa Island, a pristine island with white sand beaches and clear, shallow waters ideal for swimming or relaxing. In the afternoon, you’ll continue to Sebayur Island, where you can enjoy your final snorkeling session or simply unwind on the beach while watching the sunset. Dinner and overnight stay are onboard near Sebayur.

Day 6: Sabolo Island – Return to Labuan Bajo

After breakfast, you’ll visit Sabolo Island, also known as “Angel Island,” for one last dose of sun, sand, and snorkeling. The calm waters and colorful reefs offer the perfect conclusion to your underwater adventure. As the journey comes to a close, the boat returns to Labuan Bajo, where you’ll check into your hotel for a refreshing shower and some rest. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of Flores and the stories you’ve collected over the past six days.
