For a full 10 days, you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey through the natural and cultural wonders of Flores, from the eastern tip in Maumere to the western end in Labuan Bajo—or vice versa. This adventure will take you across exotic beaches, traditional villages, colorful lakes, natural hot springs, and even a face-to-face encounter with the famous Komodo dragons in their natural habitat. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime!
Day 1: Arrival in Maumere – Welcome to Flores!
Upon arrival at Frans Seda Airport in Maumere, our team will greet you with a warm Flores welcome. You'll be transferred directly to your hotel to rest after the long journey. The evening is free for you to enjoy – perhaps take a stroll around town or try some local cuisine.
Day 2: Wuring Village – La Paga Beach – Heading to Moni
Your day begins with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Wuring Village, a traditional fishing village with unique stilt houses built over the water. From there, the journey continues to the peaceful La Paga Beach, perfect for enjoying the sea breeze. After lunch, we’ll head to the cool mountain village of Moni, where we’ll stay overnight before visiting Kelimutu Lake in the morning.
Day 3: Sunrise at Kelimutu – Ende – Bajawa
Day 4: Bajawa Culture – Bena Village & Soa Hot Springs
Today is all about culture. We’ll visit Bena Village, a traditional Ngada village that still preserves its ancestral customs, complete with megalithic stones and traditional houses. Afterward, it’s time to relax in the natural and refreshing Soa Hot Springs. We’ll return to the hotel in the evening to rest.
Day 5: Traditional Arak in Aimere – Onward to Ruteng
After breakfast, we leave Bajawa and travel to Aimere, where you’ll witness the traditional process of making arak (local liquor) from the lontar palm. Then we continue to Ruteng, a cool town in the mountains. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of valleys and hills.
Day 6: Spider Web Rice Fields in Cancar – Arrival in Labuan Bajo
Today, we’ll stop in Cancar to see the famous spider web-shaped rice fields, a unique land division system of the Manggarai people. Afterwards, we head to Labuan Bajo, the gateway to Komodo National Park. Arriving in the afternoon, you can enjoy the sunset from the harbor or relax at the hotel.
Day 7: Sea Adventure – Komodo, Padar & Pink Beach
The most anticipated day! In the morning, we’ll set sail on a boat to explore some of the most iconic islands:
Padar Island, with a hike to the top for a breathtaking panoramic view
Komodo Island, where you'll encounter the Komodo dragons up close
Pink Beach, with its unique pink sand, perfect for snorkeling and photos
Manta Point, where you might get the chance to swim with manta rays
In the afternoon, we return to Labuan Bajo and rest.
Day 8: Batu Cermin Cave & Pede Beach
After yesterday’s sea adventure, today will be more relaxed. We’ll visit Batu Cermin Cave, a limestone cave known for its light reflections. Then, we’ll head to Pede Beach for some beachside leisure. The rest of the day is free – shop for souvenirs or chill at a seaside café.
Day 9: Village Visit – Sunset at Sylvia Hill
On our final full day, we’ll visit one of the nearby traditional villages around Labuan Bajo (optional: Melo Village with its traditional Caci dance performance). In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a stunning sunset from Sylvia Hill, one of the best sunset spots in town. The day ends with a farewell dinner together.
Day 10: Farewell from Labuan Bajo
After breakfast, it’s time to check out. Our team will take you to Komodo Airport. With your heart full of memories and your memory card full of photos, you’ll head home with an unforgettable Flores experience.
