Day 1: Arrival & Boat Trip to Kelor Island and Kalong Island
Our adventure begins as you arrive at Komodo Airport, Labuan Bajo. After a warm welcome and introduction, we board a boat to Kelor Island, a small yet beautiful island with stunning ocean views. Enjoy a short hike, fresh air, and snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, the boat sails to Kalong Island, where we witness thousands of bats flying out of their caves at sunset — a magical scene found only here. Tonight, we sleep onboard, lulled by the sound of gentle waves.
Day 2: Rinca Island – Padar Island – Pink Beach Komodo
The second day starts with trekking on Rinca Island, home to the famous Komodo dragons. With an experienced guide, we’ll observe these giant lizards and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Then, we head to Padar Island for a hike up its hills to see the iconic panoramic view of three different-colored bays. Next, we stop at Pink Beach, a rare beach with rosy-colored sand. After a relaxing swim and snorkeling, we spend another night on the boat near Kalong Island.
Day 3: Komodo Village – Komodo Island – Manta Point – Kanawa Island
On the third day, we visit Komodo Village, a traditional community where we learn about local life and culture. We then explore Komodo Island, seeing the dragons up close and learning how they survive in the wild. Snorkeling awaits at Manta Point, where we might swim alongside graceful manta rays. In the afternoon, we arrive at Kanawa Island, enjoy its underwater beauty, then return to Labuan Bajo and check into a hotel for the night.
Day 4: Labuan Bajo – Caci Melo – Baku Peduli
Today is a cultural day, beginning with the Caci Melo traditional whip-fighting performance, rich in history and artistry. Afterward, we visit Baku Peduli to see the traditional ikat weaving process — intricate and meaningful. We enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving Flores specialties before heading back to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next journey.
Day 5: Labuan Bajo – Rangko Cave – Dintor
The fifth day takes us to Rangko Cave, a stunning karst cave adorned with stalactites and stalagmites. After exploring the cave, we continue to Dintor, a peaceful village offering calming views and natural beauty. We stay overnight in Dintor, embracing the serenity of village life.
Day 6: Dintor – Trekking to Wae Rebo
Today we begin our trek to Wae Rebo, a traditional village nestled in the mountains, famous for its unique conical houses. In the afternoon, we can refresh at the village’s waterfall and natural showers. We overnight in a traditional house, enjoying the villagers' hospitality and the magical mountain atmosphere.
Day 7: Wae Rebo – Dintor – Spiderweb Fields Cancar – Ruteng
After returning to Dintor, we continue the journey to Spiderweb Rice Fields (Cancar) — a unique agricultural marvel. On the way, we stop for lunch and visit Liang Bua, a significant archaeological site where the remains of the ancient Homo floresiensis were discovered. We arrive in Ruteng by evening and check into a hotel for the night.
Day 8: Ruteng – Bajawa – Ranamese Lake – AiMere Beach
We head to Bajawa, passing by the beautiful Lake Ranamese and Ai Mere Beach. Along the way, we witness the traditional arak (local liquor)-making process, part of Bajawa’s cultural heritage. After lunch, we check into a hotel in Bajawa and enjoy a peaceful night in the mountains.
Day 9: Bajawa – Luba Bena Villages – Soa Hot Springs – Riung
We visit the traditional villages of Luba and Bena, rich in original Flores traditions and culture. Later, we unwind at Soa Hot Springs, a natural bath perfect for relaxing before heading to Riung. Overnight stay in a hotel in Riung, ready for island exploration the next day.
Day 10: 17 Islands of Riung – Snorkeling and Leisure
Today we explore the 17 Islands Marine Park around Riung. Islands like Kalon, Ruton, and Pulau Tiga boast exotic beaches and incredible snorkeling spots. We enjoy a beachside picnic lunch before heading back to the hotel to rest.
Day 11: Riung – Moni – Blue Stone Beach – Bung Karno Museum – Hanging Bridge
We continue to Moni, stopping at scenic sites including Blue Stone Beach, the Bung Karno Museum, and a picturesque hanging bridge. We also take time for photos at the lush green rice fields along the way. Upon arrival in Moni, we check into a hotel and have dinner together to recharge for the next day.
Day 12: Sunrise at Kelimutu – Wologai – Wolopaku – Return to Moni
A highlight of the trip: we wake early to catch the sunrise over Kelimutu Lake, famous for its three differently colored crater lakes — a truly rare natural phenomenon. Afterward, we visit the traditional villages of Wologai and Wolopaku, then return to our hotel in Moni to rest.
Day 13: Moni – Maumere – La Paga Beach – Old Church – Wuring Village
On our thirteenth day, we head to Maumere, with stops at the charming La Paga Beach, a historic old church, and Wuring, a coastal village. We enjoy lunch in Wuring before checking in at our hotel in Maumere for the final night.
Day 14: Maumere – Airport – Bali
On the final day, we say farewell after an unforgettable journey. From the hotel, we transfer to Maumere Airport for our flight back to Bali, taking home cherished memories from Komodo National Park and Flores Island.
